LAPD falsely portrayed people as gangsters; $12 mil settlement in teen's death by MI State Trooper

Family of a Detroit Damon Grimes. 15 yrs old, who died in a 2017 ATV crash shortly after being tasered by a state trooper Mark Bessner has settled its wrongful death lawsuit against Michigan State Police for $12 million. Bessner was later convicted of involuntary manslaughter and his partner Ethan Berger fired as Michigan State Trooper. LAPD’s elite Metro Division are under investigation for falsifying information that was collected during traffic stops in order to falsely portray citizens as gang members or associates:
